General overview of copywriting process (steps will vary according to your specific project)

  1. Call or email to discuss your overall needs for your project - what type of piece you want, who your target audience is, what you want them to do after reading. Let us know whatever you feel is most important to convey to your readers.

  2. You'll be emailed some information and a short set of questions concerning your objectives for the piece. Jot down your answers and email them back to us. After we've clarified what's necessary for your piece, you decide whether to proceed to step 3. At that point, you'll receive a short letter to sign, spelling out timeframe, project details, and pricing.

  3. Next, we'll begin reviewing and researching. We'll address the pertinent issues within our proprietary and comprehensive BenefitFitTM, a 56-question form that addresses the main areas of your customer's (1) choices, (2) concerns, (3) mindset, and (4) decisions.

Depending on the project, you'll be asked to jot down quick answers and thoughts to some of these questions - only those that require your specific input.

  4. Phone and/or email consultations may follow, if additional facts are needed. Your copy is then written, using your feedback from the questionnaire, along with your particular goals and requirements. You have ten business days after the completion deadline to let us know what revisions, if any, you'd like made. You'll receive your revised copy according to schedule.
